Mold Maker
Job Description
- Construct new molds, prototypes, models and related tooling from engineering or part drawings.
- Maintain and modify existing molds and fixtures.
- Document hours worked on each specific job by posting on daily time sheet.
- Offer suggestions and ideas to help improve the efficiency and economic performance of tooling that is built and maintained at PCI.
- Help maintain a flow of ideas and a sharing of knowledge to increase the level of expertise in toolroom, including training of apprentices.
- Help maintain cleanliness and order that makes our toolroom stand out to level of quality that we put into molds and tooling we produce.
- Maintain shop equipment in first-class condition.
- Provide a safe working environment. Report to Toolroom Team Leader any unsafe conditions.
- Maintain harmonious relations with other PCI departments and employees.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by team leader.
Minimum Requirements For Employment
- A minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Work in a team environment.
- Demonstrate a strong mechanical ability.
- Have the ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
- Comply with all company policies.
- Follow all company standard operating procedures.
- Show good housekeeping and have safety conscious work habits.
- Be willing to undergo random drug testing.
- Minimum of 4-8 years experience or certified completion in the Tool & Die or Mold Maker field.
